The Genesee Valley Audubon Society (GVAS) is the National Audubon Society (NAS) chapter in Rochester, NY area. The GWAS (formerly Genesee West (GWAS)) sponsors some weekend field trips throughout the year and an evening presentation about a nature-related topic nearly once a month. Membership includes all the benefits of a formal organization including the local publication of The Meadowlark.
