SOLAR PERSPECTIVE

SOLAR POWER... Is it an elusive dream or does it just lack government push to

make it areality on a large scale? When other energies are sold (gasoline, natural gas,

propane, hydroelectric,nuclear electric), they are metered on each increment and

government(s) receive tax monies collected for them by the seller.

It would appear that government(s) are in business with the energy companies.

Perhaps this is the reasonfor governmental push (subsidy) for distributed energies. When an

individual homeowner buys or builds renewable energy systems, there are no residual

tax dollars generated. Tax revenue previously collectedfrom the original energy

source is lost.

The bottom line for the preceding paragraph is

"DON'T EXPECT GOVERNMENT HELPWITH SOLAR

AND OTHER RENEWABLE ENERGY RESOURCES".

If you want toknow what happens to politicians who encourage solar and

renewable energy, look at Jimmy Carter. Who did he anger? Enough said. Get off

your dead butts and do it, it's locally labor

intensive, and energy dollars saved are likely spent locally!
